SUPPORT AT A DISTANCE PROGRAM

There are many people all over the world that wholeheartedly support us. They are our sponsors! They commit to send regular annual support which the Center administers for the following purposes.

Educational Program

Day Care Center for children 1.5 to 4 years old. We start them early believing in the early formation of the child to instill in them the right values and to help them cope with the challenges of entering in the public school. The method being used is patterned after the Community of Learners Foundation program where our teaches undergo regular training program. Each child is treated with dignity believing in his basic goodness as a child of God. They learn to interact with their peers, teachers, staff and visitors with respect and in the process, they also acquire self confidence and love for God. The integrated program includes daily 3-hour classroom sessions including outdoor activities in the morning, nutrition, medical and dental services. Three sessions are held simultaneously in the morning for about 35-40 children.

Saturday tutorials during the school year to assist the elementary and high school scholars who have difficulties in their studies particularly in English and Math.

Provision for a small library to provide useful references, research materials to the students

Different workshops during the summer break to help them discover and develop their talents in acting, cooking, playing the guitar, chess, crocheting, etc, and develop team spirit and sportsmanship through different group Pinoy games.

Educational trips to local government offices, museums and theme parks to broaden their horizons, enrich their knowledge and experience.

Scholarship program for college students which includes assistance in tuition fee or transportation allowance, uniform, and other fees depending on the extent of financial support by the sponsor.

Provision of school supplies, undergarments at minimal cost and black and rubber shoes to all levels every two years.

Monthly allowance of PHP 200 which could be for transportation, school projects or savings of the child.

Health Program

Nutrition program for the Day Care children which includes nutritious meal of fish or meat and vegetables which parents prepare in turns.

Availability of medical and dental supplies at cheap prices to children and their families.

Regular monthly visit of an Ob-gyne, cardiologist and dentist.

Coordinate dental and medical missions for the families and the community.

Regular de-worming of day care children.

Annual medical check up of teachers and mothers involve in handling food.

Monthly Grocery support to families. Families are able to avail of twice a month support through 50% discount on groceries like rice, milk, tooth paste, bath & laundry soap, chocolate drink, etc.
